Message from Principal

With renowned history of 149 years, St. Joseph’s College has long been a beacon of excellence in education, shaping the lives of countless students and nurturing future leaders for society and for the country. I have had the privilege of being part of this remarkable community since I was 5 years old. My educational journey began here in 2005, and today, I am deeply honoured to serve as the 31st Principal of St. Joseph’s College. Together with our dedicated team of teachers and staff, I am committed to fulfilling our mission and vision. We strive to provide a conducive environment that foster academic achievement, personal growth, and community involvement.

I am excited to share our school’s achievements over the past year. Our Josephians have excelled in both academics and extra-curricular activities, outshining their competitors in an array of prominent competitions such as the HKSSF Inter-school competition, the Speech Festival, the Music Festival, debates and the Physics and Biology Olympiads, among others. The strong sense of fraternity and belonging motivates our students to aim higher. Without solid teamwork and pride, Josephians could not have braved challenges head-on from time to time, hence emerging stronger and more resilient.

I am delighted to announce that St. Joseph’s College will celebrate its 150th Anniversary starting in January 2025. Among the exciting events planned, the Green and White Grand Open Day in February and the 150th Anniversary Gala Dinner are two highlights not to be missed. The Grand Open Day will showcase the talents and contributions of all Josephians, while the Gala Dinner will bring together all from the St. Joseph’s community to celebrate our shared joy in this extraordinary institution.

I look forward to welcoming Josephians from any generations home any time soon.

Josephians, are you ready?

T. M. Kwok
Principal
